Under the supervision of the Director of Recreation and Wellness Program, plan,
develop, and provide music activity programs for Center for Senior’s Lincoln Center;
Plan, develop, and maintain a regular daily, weekly, and monthly schedule of music
activity programs and events; Develop music activity programs and events that
encourages engagement and socialization to enhance the quality of life and to promote
wellbeing among program participants; Design and develop music activity programs to
address program participants’ needs, such as using music for improving cognitive
functioning, self-care, adjusting to life changes, raising self-esteem, and communicating;
Design music activity programs, using various musical elements to meet the program
participant’s cognitive, social, and behavioral needs; Lead and execute music programs
by playing musical instruments, such as piano and keyboard and encouraging
participation; Communicate regularly with program participants to build rapport, monitor
their progress, or reflect upon their reactions to music activity programming; Implement
music activity programs safely and in compliance with the facility safety program;
Ensure music activity programs meet all local, state, and federal regulations; and
Perform other Music activity program related duties as required.
Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy or Music and passing of Criminal
Background Check.
Salary & Benefits:
$44,658/yr + Medical Insurance and Paid Time Off
