About the Program
The Community Lunch Program is designed to promote healthy living and social engagement among older adults (60 or older).
Each meal is carefully planned to meet nutritional guidelines established by the Older Americans Act (OAA) and AgeOptions.
We welcome all older adults who wish to participate, regardless of income or background.
The program aims to reduce food insecurity, loneliness, and isolation among seniors by providing opportunities to share meals together.
Meal Donation Information
While there is no cost to participate, we encourage voluntary donations to help sustain this valuable program.
- Suggested Donation: $6 per meal
- Donations Are Never Required but strongly recommended. No one will be denied a meal due to inability or unwillingness to contribute.
- All donations go directly toward sustaining the meal program for the benefit of older adults in our community.
- Donations of any amount are always appreciated and help us continue serving nutritious meals.
Menu & Nutrition
- Each meal provides a balance of protein, vegetables, grains, and fruits, following Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
- Special menus for holidays and cultural celebrations are also offered throughout the year.
